When you’re thinking through your Instagram best practices, think about hashtags.
Instagram Hashtag
Instagram is not like Twitter, where one or two is considered acceptable. For Instagram, you can use up to thirty hashtags. Yep thirty. But place them appropriately. In the caption, only put three. You don’t want to clutter up your caption. Then put the 30 in the first comment.
Hashtags are the way you find people and amplify your content on Instagram. So it’s important to keep a list of hashtags handy. I have seven lists of thirty hashtags and I rotate their use.
